Reporting & Evidence

Understand progress, build credible evidence and report it clearly.

Reporting & Evidence is for sport organisations that need a practical way to measure progress, organise information and communicate it credibly. The focus is on creating enough structure to support decisions and accountability without introducing unnecessary reporting burdens.

How it Works

Clarify

Review your objectives, reporting needs, existing indicators, available data and current processes.

2

Define

Agree what progress should look like and what evidence is genuinely useful.

3

Build

Create a workable structure for gathering, organising and reviewing the information.

4

Report and improve

Turn the evidence into a clear account of progress, gaps and next steps.

In practice: International Biathlon Union

Since 2021, I have supported the IBU with indicators, data collection and annual sustainability reporting. The work has expanded into report architecture, evidence systems, climate-transition planning and the Roadmap to 2030 - creating a clearer connection between strategic priorities, actions, evidence and reporting.

Need better evidence, a clearer report - or both?

You may already know that you need a report, or you may first need to work out what should be measured and how. Either is a good place to start.
